West Moors

 West Moors Station houses the Defence Fuels Group, the Petroleum Depot and the Defence Petroleum School. The station occupies approximately 460 acres on the outskirts of West Moors and has around 50 personnel attached to it. The main role of the unit is the supply and storage of fuel.  West Moors village is approx. 4 miles from Poole and 16 miles from Blandford Camp.

West Moors Station has no families facilities on station.  It forms part of Blandford Garrison and families can have access to the facilities located at Blandford Camp.
